Driving on rough terrain

  • Always keep the outriggers close to the ground when driving on rough terrain.
  • Use lower driving speed on rough terrain.
  • Drive perpendicular on slopes.
  • Avoid environments with crushed stone or other sharp objects.
  • Avoid driving sideways on slopes

Elevated Driving Position (EDP)

  • Allows the operator to gain extra ground clearance under the platform by lifting the upper boom.
  • Use EDP when going over obstacles such as street curbs or steep ramps.
  • How to use EDP:
    • Hold mode selector switch to the right.
    • Use right joystick to raise the upper boom.
    • Always return the upper boom to its transport position after using EDP.

Clearing debris from tracks

  1. Level the outriggers using the automatic leveling function.
  2. Hold the mode selector switch to the left.
  3. Use the right joystick to drive the tracks.
